Cracked Embankment in IKPN Housing Complex Completely Repaired

The repair work of the cracked Pesanggrahan River's embankment in the Civil Servant Cooperative Association Housing Complex (IKPN) area, Jalan RC Veteran Raya, RT 03/04, Bintaro Urban Village, Pesanggrahan, finally completed.

We involve eight personnel to do the repair

Pesanggrahan Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency Executing Unit Head, Sutopo said the cracks occurred due to the overflowing water of Pesanggrahan River during heavy rains last week. The repair started on February 23 and completely done on March 1.

"We involve eight personnel to do the repair," he expressed , Wednesday (3/3).

According to him, it was carried out by plastering the embankment about 15 meters long with a thick enough mortar to hold the water standing from the river.

Aside that, personnel were also assigned to conduct a routine maintenance at the location.

"By so, we hope the embankment will be stronger and more resistant to water seepage," he stated.
